Farhad Mohit - Chair

Farhad Mohit is currently founder and full time volunteer at GoodParty.org, a platform that helps independents run, win and serve, without partisan or big-money support. He is also founder of GiftedSavings.org a non-profit that gifts diversified investment portfolios to high school kids to spark their interest in learning about money, investing and financial planning.

Previously, he was the Founder and CEO of Flipagram (now TikTok), a pioneering visual storytelling app that empowered users to create short musical videos from their personal photos and video clips. Flipagram was the fastest growing app of all time, reaching hundreds of millions of downloads by the time it was acquired by Bytedance to be a foundational part of TikTok, which has since gone on to become the most popular short-form video platform in the world.

Prior to Flipagram, Farhad founded BizRate.com in 1996 and Shopzilla in 2003, leading both to profitability as essential shopping services used by many millions of online shoppers.

He is a TED Patron & Catalyst and serves on the board of the Burning Man Project.

Farhad holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a double Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Applied Science and Economics with a specialization in Computing from UCLA.
