Dr. Gita Meshkat Razavi - Trustee
Dr. Gita Meshkat Razavi is a physician and author whose career spans scientific research and leadership roles in both dermatology and medical aesthetics practices across the United States.
For more than 19 years, she has served as a peer reviewer for dermatology journals, a medical writer, and a scientific researcher in cosmetic dermatology, consistently bringing advanced, evidence-based skin treatments to her patients through close engagement with the latest clinical research.
Dr. Razavi's connection to Iranian culture is lived heritage. Growing up in Iran filled her life with a deep and abiding fulfillment in Persian art, culture, and tradition, immersing her from an early age in the language, artistry, and richness of her homeland — an upbringing that instilled in her a lifelong devotion to preserving and celebrating Iranian heritage for future generations.
Driven by a mission to serve her community, Dr. Razavi has engaged extensively in philanthropic work throughout Northern California, with a particular focus on creating educational opportunities for talented Iranian-American students pursuing higher studies. She currently serves as a benefactor and board member of several nonprofit organizations, including the Iranian Scholarship Foundation, where she has served since 2013, and the Persian American Civic Action Network since 2022.
