The Nowruz Concert at Royce Hall - 2025
What a spectacular finale to Farhang Foundation’s 15th Annual Celebration of Nowruz—the largest Nowruz celebration in the world! On March 9, 2025, we closed this unforgettable day with a breathtaking concert at Royce Hall, continuing our valued partnership with the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. This year, we were honored to welcome back the Iranshahr Orchestra under the brilliant direction of Maestro Shahab Paranj, delivering a night of extraordinary music featuring compositions by incredible Iranian composers. A special highlight of the evening was the long-awaited return of the incomparable Mahdieh Mohammadkhani to the U.S. stage after more than a decade, as well as the Southern California debut of countertenor opera superstar Cameron Shahbazi. Their mesmerizing performances left the audience in awe and made for an unforgettable Nowruz celebration. A heartfelt thank you to all the musicians, artists, and attendees who joined us in marking this special occasion with the power of music, culture, and community.
