A night to remember! On May 4, 2025, the sold-out audience at UCLA’s Schoenberg Hall was captivated by the enchanting melodies of the 2025 Annual Music of Iran Concert. Presented by UCLA’s Iranian Music Program at the Herb Alpert School of Music and the Farhang Foundation and the Gramian-Emrani Center for Iranian Music at UCLA, the evening featured performances by students, esteemed instructors, and professional musicians. Under the direction of Dr. Shahab Paranj and with the collaboration of maestro Pejman Hadadi, Ensemble Iran brought to life compositions by renowned Iranian composers, including Darvish Khān, Ali Akbar Sheida, Hossein Alizadeh, Parviz Meshkatian, Bijan Kamkar, and Dr. Paranj himself.
