Perfume was everywhere in the ancient world. In ancient Persia alluring scents were made from natural materials such as flowers, herbs, resins, and animal products. Learn more about the history of perfume making, then use your nose (and imagination) to create your own scent inspired by the aromatics of ancient Persia in this free, drop-in workshop.

This event will be held on July 16 and 30, and August 6 and 20 and complements the exhibition Persia: Ancient Iran and the Classical World on view through August 8, 2022.
