U.S. Premiere of SEVEN DAYS with Star Vishka Asayesh
A historic evening at the 2025 UCLA Celebration of Iranian Cinema, presented in proud partnership between Farhang Foundation and the UCLA Film & Television Archive. The U.S. Premiere of Seven Days, directed by Ali Samadi Ahadi and written by the renowned Mohammad Rasoulof, marked a powerful cinematic moment. The film stars the extraordinary Vishka Asayesh in her first role following her departure from Iran, a performance shaped by true artistic freedom and delivered beyond the reach of censorship for the very first time in her career. Farhang Foundation had the honor of welcoming Ms. Asayesh in person for this milestone premiere, held at the Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles. The evening concluded with an exclusive and deeply moving post-screening conversation, moderated by the brilliant Dr. Roya Rastegar.
