Persian Language & Culture After-School Program
by Farhang Foundation, In collaboration with: CITY OF BEVERLY HILLS, BEYOND THE BELL, LAUSD, and STAR EDUCATION
Be a part of our historic Persian Language and Culture educational program for K-12 students of Southern California.
Farhang Foundation believes that the most immediate and enduring way to preserve Iranian heritage and honor its culture, history, and language is through education.
In 2015, with the community’s support, Farhang Foundation launched the first-ever Persian Language and Culture after school program in partnership with local public and private schools of Southern California. This program, which is provided free-of-charge to participating schools, creates a platform for K-12 students to be exposed to Iran’s rich and beautiful language and culture.
To date, over 800 students have enrolled in this free program across fourteen schools throughout Southern California.
Today we are calling upon our friends and the community to help us continue to support this historic program and to help expand it to even more schools and students of Southern California.
Our ultimate goal is to have the school districts offer the Persian language as one of the official foreign language classes offered to all students, and we can only make this dream a reality with your help.
