Farhang Foundation proudly presents the world premiere of ONE VOICE, an original composition by Loga Ramin Torkian, created in honor of Nowruz, the Iranian New Year.

Featuring the powerful united voices of Azam Ali, Sussan Deyhim, Maliheh Moradi, and Negin K.T., with lyrics by Raha Etemadi, this moving work brings together four voices in a unified expression of hope, resilience, and solidarity with the Iranian people.

Recorded with a 23-piece orchestra at Los Angeles’ famed Bandrika Studio and conducted by Maestra Daria Novo, ONE VOICE emerges as both a musical and emotional response to a defining moment in Iran’s history.

“As an Iranian composer in diaspora, I create in the space between distance and belonging, carrying with me both survivor’s guilt and a quiet grief. From afar, I witnessed the breathtaking courage of those inside Iran… When the Farhang Foundation invited me to compose a song for Nowruz, only one truth felt honest: to stand in solidarity, and to hold onto the belief that a brighter future awaits Iran and its people.”

“With this very sigh,
with this very breath,
with this same fire,
we reclaim our lives,
so that we may not die
a thousand times.”

Special thanks to Harry Risoleo, Jonathan Mayer, and Nathan Barr for their invaluable support in bringing this work to life.”

— Loga Ramin Torkian

With the anthem of shared voices
From the streets to liberation
We reclaim our lives
So we don’t die a thousand times
With a mother’s sigh
A revolution born of love
We reclaim our soil
So we don’t die a thousand times
Motherland, endure, be strong
I am certain of our reunion in spring
My wounded homeland, stay alive
I have hope for the tomorrow of this land
With this same sigh, with this same moon
With this same light, with this same fire
We reclaim our lives
So we don’t die a thousand times
