Nowruz UCI 2018
On March 24, 2018 Farhang Foundation celebrated Nowruz at the UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts, the event was attended by over 3,000 visitors throughout the day, and feature performances by the Sibarg Ensemble, Negar Estakhr and Nargol Rashidian's Puppet Show, the Parisa Daneshvar Children's Ensemble, the Firuzé Dance Company, dir. Robyn Friend, Arin Babaian plust children's activities by the Khayam Persian School Foundation ! The event came to a grand conclusion with the closing performance by the living legend Sima Bina accompanied by her master musicians Hamid Behrouzinia, Hossein Behroozinia, Saeed Farajpoory, Mehrdad Af and Behnam Samani. Special thanks to Le Jardin Privé for the beautiful Haft Sin display and to Robert's Catering Service for our traditional Persian tea house.
