An unforgettable evening screening the 2025 Academy Award-winning Iranian film IN THE SHADOW OF CYPRESS at the Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum, as part of the 2025 UCLA Celebration of Iranian Cinema presented by the UCLA Film & Television Archive and proudly sponsored by Farhang Foundation. We were honored to welcome special guests, filmmakers Hossein Molayemi and Shirin Sohani, in attendance. The screening was followed by an insightful and exclusive Q&A conversation moderated by UCLA Archive’s Senior Programmer, Mr. Paul Malcolm. A night of powerful cinema, artistic vision, and engaging dialogue celebrating the richness of Iranian storytelling.
