The Freedom Sculpture will be unveiled and officially gifted in a free public ceremony at the culmination of the inaugural L.A. Freedom Festival, which will take place on Tuesday July 4, 2017 starting at 5:30pm at a street closed section of Santa Monica Blvd. and Century Park East. In addition to the unveiling, the L.A Freedom Festival will be a celebration of diversity and unity in Los Angeles, featuring amazing multi-ethnic foods, diverse musical acts, a range of celebrity speakers and much more.

The festival is anticipated to be attended by thousands of Angelenos from a wide variety of ethnicities, cultures, lifestyles and backgrounds and many dignitaries.

We look forward to having you join us on Independence Day 2017 at this historic unveiling to welcome the Freedom Sculpture, a monumental landmark to our shared humanity that will stand in the heart of Los Angeles, for generations to come!

Festival opens at 5:30pm. The official program starts at 7:30PM.

Limited seating is available, as well as Persian style beds an picnic tables throughout the area.

Food trucks will be present, as well as Iranian food booths serving Kabob, Dizi, Grilled Corn and other street foods.

All ages are welcome and admission is FREE. All attendees are subject to search upon entry.

Parking is available at the Century City Mall. We recommend using Uber and Lyft.
