About Maliheh Moradi
Trained by three of the most eminent Iranian vocalists, Mohammad-Reza Shajarian, Parisa, and Ali Asghar Shahzeidi, Maliheh Moradi has attracted attention as a rising star in Iranian classical music. Born to a musical family in 1984, Maliheh began playing tonbak at seven and started singing lessons with her father. She attended the Tehran Conservatory of Music, where she also learned setar.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Persian literature. Maliheh has received training in both vocal and instrumental music from renowned Iranian musicians, including Siamak Jahangiri, Hossein Alizadeh, Mozafar Shafiei, Hasan Pazouki, Mohammad Firouzi, Mohammad-Reza Ebrahimi, and Masoud Shoari.
Maliheh has sung in the Mowlavi Opera (along with Homayoun Shajarian), Singing in Shadow (accompanied by Siamak Jahangiri), and Atash Sabz (film score composed by Mohammad-Reza Darvishi). She has performed at international music festivals in Australia, Spain, Germany, and Poland.
Recently, Maliheh embarked on a new chapter in the United States to further her musical journey and is a prominent vocalist in the Voices Unveiled music project.
Her new album 'Our Sorrow,' composed by Ehsan Matoori, is set to be published by ARC Nexus World on April 14, 2024.

About Pouria Akhavass
Pouria Akhavass, an Iranian music vocalist, was born in 1981 in Tehran and holds a Persian language and literature degree. He began learning singing in 1994 under the supervision of the late Rezavi Sarvestani and later completed an advanced vocal course, including modal singing and other vocal styles, under Mohsen Karamati. In 2001, while collaborating with Hossein Alizadeh, he also studied Iranian music's theoretical foundations and analyzed Iranian musical modes.
His executive activities both inside and outside Iran include collaborations with various groups, such as the Homayoun Ensemble under the direction of Hossein Alizadeh, the National Orchestra of Iran conducted by Bardia Kiaras, Khorsheed ensemble under Majid Derakhshani, the Rasa Chamber Orchestra led by Behnam Abolqasem, and collaborations with groups like Sanam, Nistane, Bahrnoor, and Hamnavazan-e Hasar. He has also performed with the National Orchestra of Iran led by Faridun Shahbazian and participated in renowned international festivals.
One notable collaboration of Pouria Akhavass with Hossein Alizadeh is in singing in pieces composed by Alizadeh, including songs like "Sorood-e Gol," "Baadeh Tooyi," "Eshghim Gol," "Zire Tigh," "Dar Cheshm-e Baad," and "Ghamnomeh-ye Fereydoun."
Among his other works are singing in albums such as "Ghodriyar," "Ey Sarkhoshan," "Yade Bi Bargi," "Chavooshi," "Rishe Dar Khak," "Sayehaye Mast," "Taam-e Tasneef," "Ranj-e Ashegh," "Ey Shab," "Hamishe Lahze-ye Baran," and "In Ham Hekayatist," remembering Lotfi, etc.
Pouria Akhavass has received the Diploma of Honor from the Magham Festival in Azerbaijan, the Molana Medal from the seventh and eighth Molana Commemoration Festival in Konya, and was a nominee for the Barbod Award for Best Singing for the albums "Sayehaye Mast" and "In Ham Hekayatist" in the years 2016, 2017, and won the Barbod Award for the Best Singer in 2022 for the album "Hamish Lahze-ye Baran."
In addition to his singing career, Pouria Akhavass is skilled in playing the kamancheh, ghichak, and setar and teaches vocal music.
