In this latest edition of #FarhangPerformances, we are incredibly proud to present Davin Ghazavi, an 11-year old piano prodigy who has chosen to perform two pieces by Frédéric Chopin for us.
Davin Ghazavi was born in 2009 in Italy to Iranian parents. He began his piano studies with his father, the renowned Iranian tenor Ramtin Ghazavi when he was only four years old. At the age of six, he was admitted to the prestigious Milan Conservatory, where he started his professional piano studies. He is the winner of national and international piano competitions, and he has performed professionally in many concerts along with his father, both in Italy and France.
In today’s performance Davin will be performing Chopin’s Waltz Op. 64, No. 1, Valse du petit chien, popularly known in English as the Minute Waltz followed by the second work of Chopin’s opus 64.
