Presenting the World Premiere of “MAY WE MEET AGAIN” by Amirali Kamali — A touching performance created Exclusively for Farhang Performances.
“'May We Meet Again' is one of my most heartfelt and personal compositions—a farewell to Iran, my beloved motherland, steeped in longing, yearning, and an unbreakable tether to my roots."
"Leaving home is more than a departure; it is the quiet ache of distant memories, the echo of familiar voices, and the scent of earth after rain that lingers in the soul. This piece is a remembrance of sun-drenched fields, moonlit gatherings, and the warm embrace of a culture that shaped me. Yet, beyond the sorrow, it sings of hope—of reunion, of the timeless bond that neither distance nor time can sever."
"Through this music, I weave the emotions words fail to hold—a tribute to my homeland and to all who carry the weight of farewell and the dream of return."
