Farhang Foundation at the 2026 AFI FEST
Farhang Foundation was honored to sponsor all Iranian films in competition at the 2026 AFI FEST in Hollywood. This year, we proudly presented three remarkable works by Iranian filmmakers, showcasing the depth and diversity of contemporary Iranian cinema. We were delighted to welcome Lilian T. Mehrel, director of HONEYJOON, and Mehrnoush Alia, director of 1001 FRAMES, who joined us in person for the premieres of their extraordinary films. We were also thrilled to present DIVINE COMEDY by Ali Asgari, whose presence we greatly missed. Thank you to everyone who joined us for these exceptional screenings.
